another in an endless string of uniquely American single-shooter mass casualty events this time at a Catholic school in Minneapolis Two children are dead a large number of more are seriously injured California to follow suit None of the pieces talk about partisan politics the fact that this effort is in response to the Texas action They all appeal to the purity of agenda and I agree with the principle However we have to do this Too much is at stake to ignore this blatant attempt to keep Americans from switching control of the House The Republicans hope we will do what we too often do
