One injured, four displaced in 2-alarm Fremont fire

FREMONT One person was injured and they and three other people were displaced after a two-alarm fire Sunday night damaged two homes officers explained The fire erupted about p m Sunday at a home on Lake Oneida Street Functionaries reported an adult occupant of the home attempted unsuccessfully to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived It was not instantly clear if that person got out of the burning home on their own or had to be rescued The person sustained non-life threatening injuries but it was not clear if they had to be hospitalized Executives declared an aggressive interior and exterior fire attack limited the extension of the fire to the corner of an adjacent residence The exact control time was not available No other injuries were revealed The exact cause of the fire is under study A damage figure was not available Fire representatives announced the one resident of the home where the fire started and three residents of the adjacent home including two children were displaced
