Pleasanton man suffers lifethreatening injuries in shooting, suspect arrested

PLEASANTON A -year-old man was critically injured in a Saturday afternoon shooting here and police already have a suspect in custody The victim is being treated at a hospital for lifethreatening injuries police revealed The suspect identified as -year-old Joshua Kaplan was arrested Saturday but has not yet shown up on the Santa Rita Jail inmate log records show Police haven t issued much information behind the shooting other than saying it is maintained to be an isolated matter with no ongoing inhabitants safety threat They say they re still scrutinizing the motive and how the victim and suspect knew each other The man was shot multiple times around p m at a home on the block of Vineyard Avenue in Pleasanton Police have described him as a Pleasanton resident but haven t reported if one or both parties lived at the home
